Abstract:
It is important to know the importance of this project, since, nowadays, both AI and automation processes are gaining more strength and each time, these new technologies facilitate the daily life of each person, the main focus is on the development of a robot capable of interacting with people. To achieve this, a program and an interface were designed using MIT App Inventor. In addition, a Tablet that would be responsible for simulating the programming was carefully selected, it had to have specifications that could support the programming required for the project. During the testing phase, some challenges arose, especially in terms of application stability, connectivity and specific functions. However, each problem was thoroughly addressed and the necessary corrections were made to ensure optimal operation of the robot. We also polished some details regarding programming, for example, the speed of movement, predetermined audios when the robot fulfills a respective function, as well as adding movement to the robot s arms to improve its autonomy. After resolving the detected faults, the robot was finally ready to be presented. Its ability to interact with the surrounding environment was successfully demonstrated, and its ability to fulfill its intended purpose effective interaction with people was highlighted.

Es importante conocer la importancia de este proyecto, ya que, en la actualidad tanto la IA como los procesos de automatización van tomando más fuerza y cada vez, estas nuevas tecnologías facilitan la vida diaria de cada persona, el enfoque principal está en el desarrollo de un robot capaz de interactuar con las personas. Para lograrlo, se diseñó un programa y una interfaz utilizando MIT App Inventor. Además, se seleccionó cuidadosamente una Tablet que sería el responsable de simular la programación, esta debía tener especificaciones que pudieran soportar la programación necesaria para el proyecto. Durante la fase de pruebas, surgieron algunos desafíos, especialmente en cuanto a la estabilidad de la aplicación, la conectividad y ciertas funciones específicas. Sin embargo, se abordó cada problema minuciosamente y se realizó las correcciones necesarias para garantizar el funcionamiento óptimo del robot. De igual forma se pulió algunos detalles con respecto a la programación, por ejemplo, la velocidad de movimiento, audios predeterminados cuando el robot cumple una respectiva función, además de agregar movimiento a los brazos de este para así mejorar su autonomía. Después de resolver las fallas detectadas, el robot finalmente estuvo listo para ser presentado. Su capacidad para interactuar con el entorno circundante se demostró con éxito, y se destacó su capacidad para cumplir con el propósito previsto, la interacción efectiva con las personas.
